A 23-year-old man was riding a bicycle and got into a fight with another person who identified himself only as a man.

The argument turned physical, police said, and that’s when the gunman pulled out a gun and shot the cyclist.

The victim, who was shot in the lower back, was taken to Northwestern Hospital in satisfactory condition.

The suspect in the shooting fled the scene eastbound on Roosevelt Road on a blue bicycle.

No one is in custody. Third Precinct detectives are investigating.
