Live27 updates

  • Conceicao vs. Foster 2, round 1

No feelings this time. Foster is more aggressive with the referee’s decision clearly playing on his mind. Conceicao aimed for the body and scored the best shot of the first, a counter left hook. Foster tries to play simple 1-2 and 1-2-1 combinations, which are mostly absorbed by the Conceicao defender.

    10-9 Conceicao

  • Next Main Event: Robson Conceicao vs. O’Shaka Foster 2

After their controversial first fight, Robson Conceicao (19-2-1) and O’Shaquie Foster (22-3) will rematch for the WBC super featherweight title.

Most fans thought Foster had easily beaten Conceicao the first time, but he made a controversial decision and lost his belt to the Brazilian.

ESPN commentators called the first fight a “gift from God” for Conceicao, and the WBC agreed. They made a rare call and set up an immediate rematch.

  • Muratalla vs. Perez, round 2

Raymond Muratalla knocks Perez DOWN in the first 30 seconds for a quick 1-2. Another 1-2 from Murtalla and he KICKS OUT Perez again. Perez gets up, but his hands are too fast for him, Muratalla is close to the finish. A 1-2 hook lands for Muratalla and Perez is injured again. The referee steps in to save Perez from further punishment.

Statement from Muratalla, who will now aim to win one of the lightweight world titles.

  • Muratalla vs. Perez, round 1

A great start for Muratalla, whose lightning-fast hands are on full display. Muratalla lands a big right hand midway through and snaps Perez’s head back with a left hook in the final 30 seconds.

    10-9 Muratalla.

  • Next: Raymond Muratalla vs. Jesus Antonio Perez Campos

Undefeated lightweight contender Raymond Muratalla (21-0) meets Jesus Antonio Perez Campos (25-5) for ten rounds as Muratalla prepares for a world title fight.

  • Mills vs. Ohana Jr. Round 5

Before going into the fifth round, the coach told Ohana Jr. that he had one more round to turn things around. Much the same thing happened in the fifth round, and Ohana Jr.’s trainer stops the fight a few seconds into the fifth round.

Good play from Mills who controlled the pace and distance throughout the match. Ohan Jr. was not experienced enough to keep Mills away from him and fight from a distance.

  • Mills vs. Ohana Jr. Round 4

Ohan Jr. weakens under pressure. Mills dominates this fight, pushing Ohana Jr. back with ease and throwing right and left hooks at will. Ohan Jr. rocked by a right hand in the final 30 seconds, Mills is on the verge of stopping.

    10-9 Mills, 40-36 Mills

  • Mills vs. Ohana Jr. Round 3

Ohan Jr. was stunned by a combination midway through the third round and was hurt again moments later with a clean right hand. Ohana Jr.’s corners encourage him to hit back. He fights Mills instead of using his reach advantage and controlling the fight with his jab. Mills is comfortably ahead.

    10-9 Mills, 30-27 Mills

  • Mills vs. Ohana Jr. Round 2

Ohan Jr. can’t use his physical advantages, Mills closes the distance too easily and lets his hands inside. Ohana’s best shot of the round was a powerful left uppercut, Mills found success with an overhand right and body work.

    10-9 mills, 20-18 mills

  • Mills vs. Ohana Jr. Round 1

Aggressive start from Milss who hits Ohana Jr.’s defense hard. Mills looks for a forehand against the much taller Ohan Jr., either when Ohan throws left-handed or when his guard is slightly lower. Ohana Jr.’s right hand landed in the final minute, but was countered by a left uppercut from Mills, who pinned Ohana against the ropes.

    10-9 Mills

  • Next: Bryce Mills vs. Mike Ohana Jr.

Bryce Mills (16-1) and Mike Ohan Jr. (19-3) will square off in an eight-round super lightweight bout.

  • Nova and Galindo are declared a DIVIDE Draw.

Abraham Nova and Humberto Galindo fought to a split decision draw (97-93 Galindo, 96-94 Nova, draw 95-95) in their ten-round featherweight bout.

Galindo is now four fights without a win, while Nova is winless in his last three.

  • Nova vs. Galindo, round 10

Galindo finishes the fight with confidence, releasing his hands and pushing Nova’s head back. Galindo does in the last minute what both guys should have done a few rounds ago. No one will watch this film again, that’s for sure!

    10–9 Galindo, 95–95

  • Nova vs. Galindo, round 9

Straight right hand to Galindo’s body followed by a quick flurry of punches. Nova lands a sharp combination in the final seconds, Galindo hits the bell. Gaindo was more active this round.

    10-9 Galindo, 86-85 Nova

  • Nova vs. Galindo, round 8

Couple of right hands from Galindo in the final minute. Nova answers with a combination. Neither guy got much going for most of the round, but both tried to steal the ball in the final minute with one or two attacks.

    10-9 Nova, 77-75 Nova

  • Nova vs. Galindo, rounds 6-7

Nova with a straight right hand in the last minute of the 7th round. The best blow of the fight for him. So far it has been a low-performance competition.

    67-66 Nova

  • Nova vs. Galindo, rounds 1-5

Abraham Nova’s weak performance in five rounds. Galindo is the aggressor and forces action, while Nova spreads a lot of energy by moving rather than striking. Both fighters need to be more active in these rounds as very little happens and either fighter can win the round if they appear to land a punch even if every punch misses the target.

    48-47 Nova

  • Next: Abraham Nova vs. Humberto Galindo

Abraham Nova (23-3), after several defeats, returns to the ring against Humberto Galindo (14-3-2) over ten rounds in the super lightweight division.

  • Tucker STOPS Madera!

Jahi Tucker def. Kilisto Madera by TKO in the eighth round.
