Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Milwaukee Bucks, but Donovan Mitchell ended the game in dramatic fashion.

The Cavaliers star scored the game-winning mid-range goal with 0.3 seconds left to break the hearts of the struggling Bucks and improve his team’s record to 7-0. The result moves the Cavaliers within one win of the best start in franchise history.

Mitchell finished with an even-keeled 30 points and four assists.

The ending negated the successful performances of Damian Lillard (41 points on 24 shots, nine assists) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (34 points, 16 rebounds, nine assists). Lillard was poised to be the home hero when he made the go-ahead shot with 9.8 seconds left. Unfortunately, Dame Time is not over.

The rest of the Bucks combined to go 15 of 38 from the field and score 38 points.

Unfortunately, blowout loss has been the theme of the Bucks’ season thus far. They entered the year as potential contenders in their first full season under head coach Doc Rivers and have struggled so far with a 1-5 record.
