US Presidential Elections | A fictional president just endorsed Kamala Harris

In a powerful show of support, members of the iconic TV show West wing reunited to support Vice President Kamala Harris in her presidential bid. The support comes in the form of a new ad created in collaboration with The Lincoln Project, a prominent pro-democracy organization.

The cast, including Allison Janney, Bradley Whitford, Dulé Hill, Janelle Moloney, Joshua Malina, Martin Sheen, Mary McCormack and Richard Schiff, released a heartfelt statement explaining their decision to support Harris. They reflected on their experiences working on the show and the importance of the upcoming election.

In their statement, the actors emphasized the significance of the November 5 elections, emphasizing that democracy itself is at stake. They expressed their deep pride in America’s ideals and emphasized the symbolic importance of the White House as a beacon of freedom, decency and hope.

“We were lucky enough to work together on a TV show called The West Wing. Our White House was an imaginary world. We dealt with real life issues, from reproductive rights to national security, but when we returned home at the end of the day, no one’s life had changed because of what happened in our fictional world.

“On November 5, America will make a decision that will have profound consequences for every American and for the American experiment itself. This is no ordinary election. Democracy on the ballot. Lives will be changed by the choices of millions of Americans.

“We came to our West Wing with different personal views and backgrounds. But it was impossible to work on this show without sharing a deep pride in what it means to be an American. We were lucky enough to work together for many years, but we knew our greatest fortune was waking up every day as part of the oldest democracy in the world.

“The White House is home to more than just the president’s family and staff. It embodies the aspirations of generations to make the idea of America embody the best in each of us. It is a symbol of a world of freedom, decency and hope.

“We support Kamala Harris for president because we love America. As the Vice President said a few days ago on the hallowed ground of the Ellipse: “This election is more than just a choice between two parties and two different candidates. This is a choice about whether we will have a country founded on freedom for every American or one governed by chaos and division.”
