Dylan Larkin’s power play goals helped the Red Wings beat the Sabers 2-1.

DETROIT, MI. (The Associated Press) – Dylan Larkin scored two power-play goals in the second period and the Detroit Red Wings snapped a three-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over Buffalo on Saturday night.

Cam Talbot made 31 saves for the Red Wings. lost 5-3 to Buffalo a week earlier.

Alex Tuch scored a short-handed goal for the Sabres, who have lost three straight games. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 21 saves.

Detroit held on despite losing its eighth game in a row. During that time, the Red Wings lost 276-181.
