I can’t live with Project 2025

When I reached a certain age, I was ready to finish my job and retire with dignity. I couldn’t wait to reach age 65—now that I am, I depend on Medicare and Social Security to get me through each month. However, with Donald Trump and his extreme agenda, Project 2025, on the ballot this November, the comfortable retirement I have earned is in jeopardy.

Donald Trump’s record proves he doesn’t care about the well-being of older people: His administration has sought to cut funding for Social Security and Medicare every year he’s been in office. No matter how many times Trump tries to say he won’t cut critical benefits for retirees like me, his far-right “Project 2025” scenario says otherwise – including plans to raise the retirement age, delaying those critical benefits for seniors and forcing Americans to almost work themselves to death.

Unlike Trump, Vice President Kamala Harris will fight tirelessly to protect the benefits that seniors like me deserve. This November, I am voting for Kamala Harris so that future generations will have the opportunity to retire with dignity, as I did.
