Cardi B feuds with Elon Musk after he calls her Kamala Harris’ “puppet”

Cardi B quickly defended herself, accusing the Tesla and SpaceX CEO of “knowing nothing” about the “American struggle.”

“I’m not Elon’s puppet… I’m the daughter of two immigrant parents who had to work hard to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of Section 8, I’m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is rigged against you (sic),” she responded.

“But you don’t know anything about it.” You don’t know anything about American wrestling.”

She then joked: “PS fix my algorithm.”

WAP rapperThe 32-year-old read the rest of her speech from her smartphone after the teleprompter incident.

“I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life. I take seriously the call to come out and speak out and share the message that has been on my heart for a long time,” Cardi said during the speech.

“Like Kamala Harris, I was an underdog, undervalued, and my success was downplayed. Women have to work 10 times harder, but they still face questions about how they achieved success. “I can’t stand bullies, but like Kamala, I always fight back,” she continued.

The rapper said she doesn’t plan to vote for incumbent President Joe Biden or Trump, but Harris, who would become the first Black female president of the United States if successful in the election. elections November 5 – changed my mind “completely”.

“I didn’t believe in any candidate until she came on board and said the words I wanted to hear about the future of this country,” she continued.

“I believe every word she says. She is passionate, compassionate, empathetic and most importantly, realistic. Kamala recognizes that this country is in danger and that we need to strengthen our economy and address the rising cost of living.

“Advocating for women – especially around maternity and mental health – is not about telling us what to do with our bodies. It’s about supporting us and providing the care we need to make our choices.

“People like Donald Trump don’t believe women deserve rights. When those rights are threatened, it disappears,” she said.

“If his definition of protection means limiting our choices and ensuring that our daughters have fewer rights than our mothers, then I don’t want that.”

She continued: “Depriving women of their rights is shameful. Conning Americans out of their hard-earned money by selling Trump watches, Trump sneakers, Trump Bible … do we really trust this man with our economy? A man who only cares about getting rich and cutting taxes for his billionaire friends. I won’t even get a tax cut.”

During his rally in Gastonia, North Carolina over the weekend, Trump repeated his previous comments that women would be protected under his leadership “whether they like it or not.”

“I will protect our women,” Trump said on Sunday (NZ time). “I think women love me.

“I believe that women need to be protected. There should be men, children, everyone. But women need to be protected where are they at home in the suburbs
