Swayman stopped 23 shots as the Bruins beat the Kraken 2-0 for Seattle’s second straight shutout.

BOSTON — Jeremy Swayman had 23 saves and his first goal of the season as the Boston Bruins beat the Seattle Kraken 2-0 on Sunday night.

Justin Brazeau scored at 3:23 on a pass from Nikita Zadorov, and Charlie Coyle scored less than seven minutes later, beating Kraken goalie Joey Daccord for an uncontested shot into the crease.

Charlie McAvoy made the secondary assist on Brazeau’s goal, while Brad Marchand and Elias Lindholm assisted on Coyle’s goal.

Daccord made 31 saves in the loss.

Kraken: Seattle suffered two straight losses this weekend after losing 3-0 to Ottawa on Saturday and has now lost six of its last seven games.

Bruins: Boston outscored the Kraken 15-3 in the first period and had three power play opportunities to Seattle’s one.

Zadorov’s pass led to Brazeau scoring less than four minutes later, putting the Bruins on the board and turning the momentum in his favor.

Brazeau has scored in four of his last six games.

Seattle visits Colorado on Tuesday in the final game of a five-game series, while the Bruins play the Maple Leafs on the same day.
