Of course, things are much more complicated than that, and their reports reveal something much more serious, the consequences of which directly relate to the White House.

All the President’s Men is one of the most memorable films that depicts the real-life political events that ultimately led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon. The 1991 political thriller “JFK” is adapted from the books “In the Wake of the Assassins” by Jim Garrison and “Crossfire: The Conspiracy That Killed Kennedy” by Jim Marrs. The film begins on the day of Kennedy’s assassination. The investigation determined that Lee Harvey Oswald (Gary Oldman) acted alone in the murder. However, New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison (Kevin Costner) believes there’s more to it than that.

Despite the rebuke, Harrison cannot let it go. He begins talking to witnesses who were at the scene, as well as others who overheard conversations leading up to the event. He soon becomes convinced that a conspiracy was planned, in which many political officials participated. ‘Ides of March’

Directed and co-written by George Clooney, The Ides of March depicts the dirty side of politics. Ryan Gosling stars as Stephen Meyers, the junior campaign manager for Pennsylvania Governor Mike Morris (George Clooney), who is running in the Democratic presidential primary. When Meyers is approached by his opponent’s campaign manager, Tom Duffy (Paul Giamatti), he is surprised to receive a job offer.

The scams and deals don’t end there. Meyers also becomes romantically involved with employee Molly Stearns (Evan Rachel Wood). When he accidentally takes her phone while she is sleeping one night, he realizes that she has slept with Morris and is hiding a campaign secret. Meyers tries to do the right thing in the situation, hoping to protect his boss, but only gets deeper. When you start watching Francis Ford Coppola’s classic film, you won’t see the political ramifications right from the start. Gene Hackman plays Harry Caul, a private investigator hired as an assistant (Harrison Ford) to a client he won’t be able to meet… yet. He spies and records a conversation between a young couple, Mark (Frederick Forrest) and Anne (Cindy Williams). While listening to them, he hears a mysterious conversation that reminds him of a failed case, and he cannot refuse what he heard.

Hackman’s Kol finds himself in a difficult situation, trying to figure out how to save the couple and prevent what he believes is a possible murder. But everything is not as it seems. The Conversation received several Oscar nominations and awards, including Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay.
