Pamela Anderson says she left Hollywood for Canada to ‘remember who I was’

In a new interview, the Baywatch star said she doesn’t want to be “defined” by other people’s misconceptions about her.

Pamela Anderson reinvents himself – and leaves the past behind.

Back in 2020 Baywatch The 57-year-old actress decided to move to her home country, Canada. In a new interview with the magazine Women’s casual wear (WWD)Anderson said her move to Vancouver Island, British Columbia, was an opportunity to reconnect with her true self.

“I think (it was) coming home, you could say, to really look at my life and remember who I was and not who other people told me I was,” she told the publication.

“And I didn’t want anything that happened to me to define me. I wanted what I did to define me,” she continued.

This isn’t the first time an ex Playboy The model spoke about her decision to return to her roots.

“I don’t know what happened in the last few decades, but now I feel so far away from the image of who I was,” she explained. “I was very sad and lonely. I didn’t just feel misunderstood, I felt like I had really screwed up, that my whole life was a tangle of mistakes. “I don’t know how I did it,” Anderson said. WWD about the various projects that have appeared in her recently. “Just like in this film, I also don’t know how I did it. I just feel like the stars are aligned and if you just believe in yourself long enough… always keep that little fire going.”
