With the NFL trade deadline approaching, teams have one last chance to make a significant roster shakeup before heading into the second half of the regular season.

Tuesday at 4:00 pm ET will mark the official end of all 32 teams, although many have already taken action, with nine deals made since the start of the season. But could there be some more noticeable steps in the next day?

USA TODAY Sports will be providing real-time updates from around the league on all the latest news and news surrounding the trade deadline, so check back often for the latest information:

Jerry Jones remains hopeful that the Cowboys’ season can be saved. Even though his team is 3-5, Jones suggested his team might be looking to make an acquisition at the NFL trade deadline.

“We need to do a couple things this week,” Jones said after Sunday’s 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

But take note from USA TODAY Sports’ Jarrett Bell, who is skeptical that Jones will abandon his personnel structure and make a significant move. Bell takes a closer look at Dallas’ prospects in his column from Sunday.

IN Dennis Allen’s firing on MondayThe New Orleans Saints have taken one decisive step to make it clear that they will not cling to the status quo. Could there be more to come ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline?

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said the team has no plans to hold a fire sale. And given the rampant restructuring the team has undertaken over the past few years, there is little room for the team to improve its cap projection (New Orleans is projected to be $61.5 million over the cap in 2025). Defensive end Chase Young is one of the few moving pieces as he is on a one-year deal. Four-time Pro Bowl guard Marshon Lattimore may be one of the team’s most intriguing assets, but it’s unclear whether he will be dealt with as he deals with a hamstring issue that caused him to miss Sunday’s loss to the Carolina Panthers.

While many big names have already been moved, there are still a few notable figures that could be available, including:

  • 1. Aziz Ojulari, OLB, New York Giants
  • 2. Za’Darius Smith, DE, Cleveland Browns
  • 3. Jonathan Jones, CB, New England Patriots
  • 4. Arden Key, OLB, Tennessee Titans
  • 5. Chase Young, Delaware, New Orleans Saints
