Michael J. Fox and Tracy Pollan celebrate daughter Esme’s 23rd birthday

Michael J. Fox is celebrating the 23rd birthday of his “renaissance girl,” daughter Esme.

The Back to the Future star and his wife Tracy Pollan wished Esme a happy birthday on November 3 with an Instagram slideshow of their family moments together.

“Esme, happy birthday to our Renaissance girl,” Fox wrote on Instagram. Instagram. “You do all this. Your Dud loves you very much… Who doesn’t? Keep living your best life.”

Pollan also had some sweet words for her daughter. Instagram as well as pictures of them together in beautiful nature scenes.

“I love you @esmeannabelle, happy birthday!!!” she wrote. “I love absolutely everything about you and I’m lucky that I get to explore the world with you! You are my heart.”

Esme is the youngest of four children of the couple, who have been married since 1988. son Sam, 35, and twin daughters Schuyler and Aquinnah29.

Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1991 and is grateful to his family for their support over the years.

“Well, Tracy is amazing,” Fox. told Willie Geist Sunday TODAY in 2020. “She’s with me on the front lines every single day. She never pretends to know as much as I do. And what Tracy does is, if there’s something funny, let’s get to the funniest part. We’ll deal with the tragic stuff later.”

He also talked about his children.

“They’re all smarter than me, they’re all prettier than me, they’re all taller than me,” Fox said. “And that’s why I look up to them.”
