DeAndre Hopkins threw the perfect celebration after his first Chiefs TD.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins cheekily celebrated his first touchdown since being traded to the Tennessee Titans.

In the first half at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, the Chiefs trailed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 7-3 with less than five minutes left in the first half. Patrick Mahomes, on third-and-goal from the Buccaneers’ 1-yard line, found Hopkins tiptoeing from behind. end zone for a touchdown.

Hopkins celebrated his first Chiefs win by paying homage to the 2000 football movie Remember the Titans. The three-time All-Pro performed the memorable dance from the movie and was soon joined by a handful of his teammates.

The Titans traded Hopkins to the Chiefs last month, which clearly played a major role in the veteran’s celebration. Hopkins didn’t look like a man who wanted to be traded just a week before it was handed out to him.

In his first game against the Chiefs last week, Hopkins was targeted just three times and caught two passes for 29 yards. Hopkins had already tallied six catches for 66 yards and one touchdown before halftime against the Buccaneers on Monday.
