Joe Rogan supported Trump after Musk’s interview

Podcast Host Joe Rogan endorsed former President Donald Trump on Monday night, just hours before millions of voters cast their ballots Election Day.

Rogan, the host of Spotify’s most popular podcast, made the announcement with his latest episode. The Joe Rogan Experience with SpaceX founder Elon Musk.

“If it wasn’t for him, we’d be screwed,” Rogan said, reflecting on his interview with Musk. “He makes, in my opinion, the most compelling case for Trump you’ll ever hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.”

“For the record, yes, this is an endorsement of Trump,” the podcast host concluded.

During the interview, which lasted more than two and a half hours, Musk said Rogan: “If Trump doesn’t win, this will be the last election.”

“I think you’re right. Yes, I think you’re right. I think people, and a lot of people, are waking up and realizing this – it’s been lifelong Democrats, guys like Bill Ackman… Tulsi Gabbard has gone over to the Republican side,” Rogan responded. “For example, there are a lot of people who have been on the left all their lives and understand that I can’t do that anymore.”

Trump reacted to the news in real time at an election-eve rally in Pennsylvania.

“It just came out that Joe Rogan just endorsed me. Thanks Joe. It’s so cute, but he doesn’t do that. He doesn’t do that and he tends to be a little more liberal than some of the people in this room,” the former president told the Pittsburgh crowd. “And he’s not a guy who does publicity, but he did it, so I just want to thank Joe Rogan, that’s fantastic.”

Trump appeared on Rogan’s show in late October, with the episode turning into a taping session that left the former president several hours late to a rally in Michigan.

“I had a lot of fun and he was great. It was a three hour interview. I was actually two hours late to the rally we had,” Trump recalled at his rally in Pittsburgh. “I had to explain it a little bit, and it was cold outside that night. We flew and I did, but we had to make it in time. We were more than two hours late between the two of us, and they understood it. I said, you know, I was just interviewed by a very interesting guy, and he kept talking. They called it long form and it could have gone on a lot longer, but he was great.”
