Musk warned that if Harris wins, she will “set the DOJ on X”

During a long interview on the channel The Joe Rogan Experience The podcast, which attracted more than 1.2 million viewers in its first two hours, saw Musk talk about how he felt it was important to buy Twitter after seeing the rise of censorship and deplatforming on social media.

Chief X said he was still coping with “advertiser boycotts” from “left-wing NGOs” with “Orwellian names.”

“Some of the boycott is starting to weaken, and I think if Trump wins, I think we’ll probably see most of the boycott weakening,” Musk told Rogan.

He added: “But if Kamala wins, we will see the boycott intensify. And they’ll fucking shut down (X).”

“There is no way Kamala Harris’s puppet regime will allow X to exist,” Musk said.

Rogan asked Musk: “Do you really think they can shut it down? Is there a way to achieve this?

“Yeah, yeah,” Musk replied.

“What would they do?” – Rogan asked.

“Well, they can set the Department of Justice on (X). They had this whole history of hate speech or misinformation or whatever, but they’re the ones spreading the misinformation. That doesn’t stop them from filing massive lawsuits and using the Department of Justice,” he said. said.

Rogan applauded Musk for purchasing the social media platform.

“If you hadn’t bought this and changed Twitter, I don’t think we would be where we are today,” Rogan told Musk on the eve of the election, adding: “It was a turning point. . I think historically, when people look back, this will be a turning point in this very bizarre fight for freedom of information.”

“At the time, I think I said, ‘Look, this is vital to the United States. This is vital for democracy,” Musk responded.

“If you don’t have freedom of speech, you don’t have democracy. If you don’t have freedom of speech, people won’t be able to vote consciously. If they are just fed propaganda and there is no freedom of speech, democracy is an illusion,” Musk said about why he bought X.

The SpaceX CEO gave an example of how the Department of Justice went after his space and satellite company for “not hiring asylum seekers.” He explained that it was illegal to employ asylum seekers due to the nature of his company’s sensitive weapons technology. His company has the legal right to hire only permanent residents of the United States, but the Department of Justice decided to file a “giant lawsuit” against SpaceX anyway.

“This Orwellian situation is getting crazy,” he said. “You’ll be damned if you do, and you’ll be damned if you don’t.”

Musk told Rogan that the growth of the “huge, suffocating federal bureaucracy” is expanding every year, creating about two new federal agencies a year. He added that bureaucracy will ultimately make it impossible to “get anything done” in our country.

Musk won the lawsuit on Monday as a Philadelphia judge ruled to allow Musk to continue giving away millions of dollars each day to state voters who signed his free speech petition.

His mother, Maye Musk, said on Fox News that her son was being targeted by Democrats.
