Ariana Grande explains why she chose her full name for Wicked Credits

Ariana Grande’s love story Wicked well documented. As she herself mentioned during the aforementioned interview, the show has been an important part of her life since she discovered it at age 10, and she has never shied away from letting the world know about it.

In the past, Grande has called the day she found out she got the role of Glinda “the best day of (her) life.” Actually Grande loves Wicked and Glinda so much that The Good Witch is now always with her thanks to the tattoo on her arm..

Grande’s decision to reveal her full name Wicked also makes sense since she previously revealed that she would have to create a whole new persona to reach her full potential as an actor for the role.

“I trained every single day to prove (Wicked producers) that I could handle this other person,” Grande explained in a previous interview. “I had to completely erase the pop star Ari, the person they know so well, because it’s harder to believe in someone as someone else because they’re so branded as one. I had to do my best to get rid of it.”

First Wicked The film hits theaters worldwide on November 22, so grab your tickets and get ready to see Ariana Grande-Butera in all her glory!
