The draw for the 2024 WDF Lakeside Men’s World Darts Championship can be found here.

Danny Porter is one of a number of Australians who will be seeded in the tournament. He is ranked number one and will face Francois Schweyen or Michael Cassar. Jimmy van Schie was ranked No. 1 in the world by the WDF before the draw and will be the favorite for the title. He will face either Patrick Kovacs or Bjorn Lehon.

Other participants include Neil Duff, 2022 WDF World Champion. He will face Darren Johnson or Rhys Collie. It will feature Liam Mendl-Laurance, the German who made a sensational, albeit disgraceful, sensation on the European Tour last season. He will face Sybren Geubels or Kevin Luke.

Peter Machin, a former BDO world champion, will face either Mike Gillett or Kai Smith. But perhaps the main draws will come in the first round, including Matthew Edgar and quality cameraman Jarno Bottenberg. And also another draw: Paul Lim will meet Moreno Blom. Both are definitely worth checking out.

There will also be a new champion if Duff fails to win Andy Baetens will not return as he is now a PDC Tour Card holder. They also had to find a lot of replacements due to PDC rules and high-profile players like Plaisier, Scutt and Gates accepting Ally Pally offers instead.
