Official trailer for the Hitchhiker’s drama “Wayward” starring Chloe Guidry

“We’ll just drop her off and leave…” Abramorama has released the main official trailer for the indie film entitled Waywardmarking the feature-length directorial debut of writer and director Jacqueline Fröhlich. The film first premiered at the 2023 Deauville Film Festival last year, but is only now being released in a very select number of theaters starting this fall. Wayward The story follows eleven-year-old Cleo, who is captivated by a charismatic female traveler who is picked up by her mother as they travel to their new home in Los Angeles from Idaho. When Cleo and a hitchhiker form an unlikely bond, the line between kidnapping and escape becomes dangerously blurred. Mom plays Jess Weixleralong with Chloe Guidry like Cleo plus Jessica Sula, Rob Morrow, Will BrittianAnd Colleen Camp. An intriguing little story that shows both sides of a kidnapping situation, as well as the story of a young girl who feels the need to escape her own mother.
