New Lufkin Entertainment Center Moves Forward with Innovative Designs

LUFKIN, Texas (KTRE) – Rec N Relax held a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday.

The new facility will be 20,000 square feet and cost starting at $7 million. Business owner Ty Shaffer said it will be a place where people can “kick back and relax” as much as they want.

They plan to offer activities such as miniature golf and football and baseball simulators. Construction is scheduled to begin within the next few months and be completed in 10 months to a year, weather permitting.
