Shivalik Public School, Mohali celebrates Symphony 2024

The school celebrated its annual Symphony 2024 Day and Awards Ceremony, showcasing enormous talent to celebrate 54 memorable years of academic excellence. The program took place in the school auditorium. The event began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest Dr. Gurkiranjit Nalwa, Principal, Shivalik Public School, along with Dr. Anupkiran Kaur, Principal, Shivalik Public School, Mohali, accompanied by other dignitaries. A heartfelt tribute was paid to the school principal D.S. Bedi, has been recognized for his visionary leadership and contribution to the success and growth of the school. This was followed by a presentation of seedlings and a welcoming speech. Deputy Principal Dr. Tina Chopra presented the school’s annual report for the session 2023-24. The program featured a variety of performances on themes such as “Symphony of Nature”, “Elegance of the Desert”, “Cultural Mosaic of India”, “Women Empowerment”, “Western and Regional Folk Dances” and other themed numbers depicting pride, heritage and contemporary problems. After the speeches, an awards ceremony was held where the chief guest presented awards to the meritorious students of the school. The school awarded a cash reward of Rs 3,100 to these students for their outstanding performance in the session 2023-24. Tricity Class XII Top Player for the 2023-24 season Baljot Kaur was awarded Rs 5,100. Two teachers, Jaspreet Kaur, TGT Punjabi, and Rajinder Kaur, PGT Physical Education, were awarded cash bonuses of Rs 11,000 each for achieving 100 per cent in their subjects.
