John Key’s awkward Trump ‘insult’ at BBC Breakfast left viewers stunned | Television and Radio | Show business and TV

BBC News viewers said the same thing as John Key, who made a huge mistake when discussing Trump rallies.

The 54-year-old BBC Breakfast presenter traveled to Washington, D.C. earlier this week to bring viewers exclusive coverage of the pivotal election pitting Democratic Vice-President Kamala Harris against Republican Donald Trump for the presidency.

Ahead of Trump’s announcement that he had won a “magnificent victory for the American people” in the election, Kay said that BBC News reporter Gary O’Donoghue broadcast live at the Trump rally.

However BBC the host seemed distracted as he accidentally called it a “hobo rally.”

Viewers immediately noticed the mistake and rushed to social networks to share their thoughts, writing in one of them: “BBC just called Trump’s rally a “hobo” rally. 4 years of liberal smoke.”

“Did you listen to Freud spill the beans? BBC just did what? Called it a Trump rally not a Trump rally,” a second added, as another agreed: “LMFAOOOO NO WAY BBC THE REPORTER JUST GOT BROKEN AND CALLED TRUMP TRUMP.”

Echoing this, a third wrote: “BBC Freudian slip: “We’re going back to Trump… ah, Trump headquarters.”

Another stated: “BBC started insulting Donald Trump.”

Someone else added: “BBC The news called Trump a tramp by accident, they are so real.”

Trump declared victory after winning the key swing states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia. The conservative American network Fox News also predicted that Trump would win the presidential election.

Speaking from his watch party in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump said he would fix the country and its borders, calling his comeback “the greatest political movement of all time.”

He said: “(This is) the greatest political movement of all time. There has never been anything like this in this country.

“We are going to help our country recover. We have a country that needs help… a lot… We’re going to fix our borders… We’ve made history.”

Trump was joined on stage by his wife Melania, vice presidential pick J.D. Vance, family members and aides ahead of his projected presidential victory.

He now has 267 Electoral College votes compared to Kamala Harris’ 214. He only needs three more to become president.
