Firefighters are battling two massive house fires in Cicero, Illinois, near 29th Street and 51st Avenue.

CICERO, Ill. (WLS) — A massive fire engulfed two houses in the western suburbs on Wednesday morning.

Helicopter 7 was over the scene as dozens of firefighters extinguished the burning in the Cicero neighborhood near 29th Street and 51st Avenue.

Roads in the area were closed as firefighters tried to extinguish the blaze.

It is unknown if anyone was injured; or whether anyone was inside the home when the fire started.

It is unknown at what time the fire started.

Around 6 a.m., Chopper 7, seized as a second home, caught fire.
