One lucky winner from New York State recently won $50,000 with a third-place Powerball ticket.

The New York Lottery announced that the winning ticket for its Nov. 2 drawing was four white balls and a red Powerball. It was sold at the 7-Eleven store located at 207 Jericho Turnpike in Mineola, New York.

The winning numbers for the draw are white balls 10, 45, 48, 58, 61 and red Powerball 2.

The winning numbers for the Powerball game are selected from a field of one through 69. The Powerball number is selected from a separate field of one through 26. To win the jackpot, players must match all five white balls in any order and the red Powerball number.

Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m., and the New York Lottery encourages players to buy tickets in advance to avoid last-minute lines.
