CHICAGO (WLS) — A judge has sentenced a man convicted of armed robbery to ten years to life in prison.

Terrence Thomas pleaded guilty in July to 12 armed robberies at multiple 7-Eleven locations, as well as two Thornton gas stations and a pilot travel center in March 2023.

His crime spree hit four Chicago neighborhoods in less than two hours.

Thomas was on parole for illegal possession and firing a handgun during robberies.

On Tuesday, a judge sentenced him to 120 months in prison.

The crimes occurred on March 29, 2023 at the following locations and times:

-954 West Monroe at 1:10 am.
-560 West Grenshaw at 1:38 am.
-3700 North Broadway at 2:47 am.
-6801 Northwestern at 3:05 am.
-2741 West Tui at 3:11 am.
