“The Price is Right” Player Wins Incredible Prize from Surprise Guest (VIDEO)

Funny The price is right the contestant won a vacation that left fans speechless. The vacation proved more tempting and expensive than the usual game show fare. And it was handed out by a surprise fellow CBS host in the winning TV crossover.

In an excerpt from a recent episode shared by TPIR YouTube on Thursday (November 7), Drew Carey invited the charming Linda from South Carolina to play a game of Cliff Hangers. “Cliff Hangers” is about a hand-painted aluminum climber who climbs a mountain based on how far the contestant falls short of paying the price of the prize, and if he misses it too much, the climber falls to his doom.

Carey said he was in for a “special treat.” In honor of the new CBS series Summitmaster Manu Bennett joined the show for a crossover to present a trip for two to New Zealand. The 14-day tour, starting in Auckland, includes whale watching, hotel accommodation and guided tours. The trip cost a whopping $34,256.

price-right-11-7Bennett asked Carey how he was doing as a guest host, and Carey assured, “Yeah, great, perfect, I can’t wait to see the show.” The action takes place in New Zealand and has the same format as Survivor The premiere took place on September 29.

At the same time, Linda suggested that the price of the compass was $25 (it was actually $18), but Carey promised that it was still in good shape. She suggested that the first aid kit also cost $25 (it was $32). And the deciding factor: the price of a set of hand warmers. Linda guessed it was $40. She only lost $3, which meant she went to New Zealand. Linda burst out with joy and hugged Bennett tightly.
