How Jennifer Lopez plans to spend her holidays after a ‘busy year’

Jennifer Lopez admits that she had a good year: in August she filed for divorce from her husband. Ben Affleck. Now the multi-definator is just hoping to lay low during holidays and enjoy the reason for the season: family.

In a new interview with the magazine PeopleThe star detailed her plans for the rest of the year, and they include spending quality time with her kids (she has 15-year-old twins Max and Emma with ex-husband Marc Anthony) and other family members like her two sisters, Leslie and Linda.

“It’s been a pretty busy year for me, and what I’m most looking forward to is spending time with my kids and family visiting from the East Coast,” she told the publication, before adding that she considers the holidays a “special time,” regardless what’s happening.

“The holidays are a special time for us and always have been since I was a little girl,” she said. “And I’m really looking forward to those times when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and make new memories.”

She also views this season as a time to “slow down,” relax and connect with her friends and loved ones. that’s how life is,” she said.

Since she’s the face of dazzling water bottles, it’s no surprise that she’s a fan of all the glitz, glamour, and festivities that come with yuletide.

“I love all the decorations and the hot chocolate and the music and the food, and I’m one of those people who really tries to turn it all into a storybook for my kids,” she said. I love holidays.”
