Table of contents(Hide)(Show)

Many classic Wonder weapons are returning to the game. Black Opera 6 Zombie with the infamous Jet Pistol getting a makeover in Liberty Falls and the iconic Ray Pistol available on both starting maps. The first brand new wonder weapon in the game is located on Terminus and is called the DRI-11 Beamsmasher. Like many other Wonder Weapons, you can get this weapon randomly, such as from the Mystery Box or other random rewards, but there is a way to ensure that you get this weapon every game. The process of obtaining all the parts and creating the Beamsmasher is one of the more difficult side Easter eggs on Terminus, but players who want to master the power of this Wonder Weapon will want to do it every time they explore the island. This guide will show players how to build a Beamsmasher on Terminus in Black Opera 6 Zombie.

How to build the Beamsmasher wonder weapon on Terminus

To build the DRI-11 Beam Destroyer, you will need to collect 3 parts and use them on the workbench in Anya Tonovskaya’s secret workshop. To get the free Wonder Weapon, you will need an EMF Keychain, a Polyphase Resonator, and AMP Ammo. Unlike building a jet gun in Liberty Falls where you can obtain the parts for this weapon in any order, these parts are acquired in a linear order as you progress through this Easter Egg quest. Here’s a full breakdown of how to get each item.

EMF keychain

After turning on all 3 AMP generators, fully restoring power to the facility, and lifting the Pack-a-Punch machine out of the water, use one of the Arsenal machines to install the Dead Wire ammo mod on any of your weapons. Then activate the inclined lift. When the elevator takes you up or down, you will see 3 electrical boxes that you will need to shoot at with your Dead Wire weapon.

The first one you need to shoot is through the window facing north. After shooting the box, follow the electrical charge along the wiring to another fuse box on the east wall. Shoot the box and then shoot another box in the building at the top of the elevator to the south.

Once these boxes are destroyed, the electricity will flow to the residential fuse box. You will be able to see the box directly above the AMP generator in the room. Once you shoot this box, go to the records warehouse on the other side of the wall to find the final fuse box.

After the last shot at the box, the green doors to the left of the box will open, giving you access to a secret workshop called the Research Office. Anya Tonovskaya, now a zombie, is pinned under a fallen cabinet. Kill her and she will drop an EMF FOB item.

Multiphase resonator

By purchasing an EMF FOB, you can now open the suitcase with your hand holding the handle. You can find this on a table in the Sea Tower building. Inside the suitcase there is a multiphase resonator. Be careful when you pick it up, because a large horde of vermin will appear.

You now have the Polyphase Resonator, but that’s not the end of this item as it will be integral to finding the final weapon piece. Take the Resonator to the computer in the Research Office, which is located to the right of Tonovsky’s body. To access the computer you will need to enter a code which will require you to find 3 laptops and even solve some math equations.

The first laptop is on a box in the vault right outside the interrogation room. The letter “Y” is drawn next to the laptop. Hold the interact button to turn on the laptop, which will display the symbol needed to decipher the code.

The next computer is located near the communications building. The letter “Z” is next to this laptop.

The last laptop has an “X” next to it and is at the top of the stairs in the dock area, under the Sea Tower.

Now that all the symbols are displayed, go back to the research office and look at the boards. The board on the left will help you determine the numerical value of each symbol. Find the numbers of each column and row that the symbol is lined up with and this will give you their meaning. For example, in my game, the “Z” symbol was two circles overlapping diagonally, and the symbol was in 1 row and 1 column. This means the Z value is 11. Do this for your symbols to find each value.

You will then need to do some algebra and plug these numbers into the equations written on the right board. Fortunately, these equations are the same in all Terminus games.

  • 2x+11
  • (2z + y) – 5
  • | (y + z) – x |

You can try to solve these equations yourself, but Peck will offer to just tell you the answer if you pay him. If you want to take this route, return to the security station next to the spawn room and pay Peck 5000 essences to have the solution appear on the computer.

This number will be different in each game, but the process of finding the answer is the same. I’ll break down my solution and you can put your numbers to work to find the answer.

  • 2(20) + 11
  • (2(11) + 0) – 5
  • | (0 + 11) – 20 |

My solution: 51 – 17 – 09.

After entering the code, you will need to wait for the resonator to calibrate. If you made it before round 9, you will have to wait until you get to that round to continue. If you are in Round 8 or higher, the Resonator will be ready at the start of the next round.

AMP Ammunition

Once the resonator is calibrated, take it from the machine and go to Castle Rock Island, a small island in the eastern part of the map. There will be a blue orb here that you can interact with to place a Resonator underneath it. When zombies start appearing on the island, the orb shoots a beam at one of the zombies, causing it to glow blue. Kill the glowing zombie and it will drop a small ball of the same color as the ball.

Hold the interact button on the ball to pick it up. You will not be able to run, aim, or reload while carrying the ball. Bring it to the sphere to put it in place. Repeat this process until the ball moves to another island. Be sure to grab the Resonator as you will need it for the rest of this step.

Go to the southern island called Crab Island to find the green orb. Follow the same process as on Castle Rock Island with the green ball until the ball leaves the island.

Finally, head to Temple Island and repeat the process with the purple orb found here.

Once all the balls hit the sphere, the screen will flash white and an AMP Munition item will appear in the sphere’s place.

Now that you have all the necessary parts, return to the Research Office and interact with the workbench to create the DRI-11 Beamsmasher Wonder Weapon. This weapon has two fire modes that work in tandem to deal massive damage. If you hold down the aim button, a small antenna will come out of the gun and hypnotize any zombie that comes into its field of view. This will slow down their walking speed for a short time and make them more susceptible to damage from the weapon’s other attack, an energy beam that can be fired by pressing the fire button. This weapon can also be packaged to turn it into a supersonic crusher.

With all that said, you can now fully build the DRI-11 Beamsmasher on the Terminus map in Black Opera 6 Zombie. Stay tuned to Gameranx for more news, updates and guides on Black Opera 6 as well as other great games in the future.
