Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill gets a laugh from Olympic sprinter

Olympic champion Noah Lyles ran 50 meters against famous streamer IShowSpeed. The match was organized by the world famous YouTube channel Mr. Beast.

Speed and Lyles ended up in Miami on Wednesday and the deal was done. Beast posted the track and prize money. All participants had to do was travel to Orlando and take part in the race.

The amount and content of the race has caught the attention of Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who claims he is ready, willing and able to race Lyles to see who the real winner is. “The fastest man in the world.”

Lyles narrowly beat the amateur to take the $100,000 prize that Mr. Beast usually pays out to the winners of his competitions.

Speed challenged Lyles online hours before the race. Mr. Beast brought the prize money and posted it on his website.

The margin of victory led to ridicule for Lyles as it was too close for comfort. The result prompted Hill to respond on social media.

Hill’s comments and the angle of the race finish were posted on social media.

This made Hill chuckle. He chastised Lyles for his inability to beat the amateur at longer distances.

“And the track and field athletes think he’s going to beat me,” Hill said, flashing three emojis to show he was laughing.

Hill challenged Lyles to the 50m dash shortly after the Paris 2024 Games. The three have challenged each other in a three-way race, but terms have yet to be agreed upon. Hill turned down Speed’s request months ago, but Hill clearly wants the chance to compete for the fastest man in the world.

Hill and Lyles have reportedly verbally agreed to the 50-meter dash, which will likely take place after the NFL season.

Lyles beat the Olympic field in the 100m final by 0.005 seconds. However, he fell ill during the 200m final, presumably due to symptoms associated with COVID-19. He ended up winning bronze in the 200m.

“I would beat Noah Lyles,” Hill said back in August at Up and Adams podcast after the Olympics. “I’m not going to beat him by much, but I would beat Noah Lyles.”
