Outer Banks Season 4 Part 2: Shocking betrayals, heartbreak and devastating death

Emotional roller coaster. Outer Banks Season 4, Part 2 has finally come to an end, leaving fans a little emotional. John B., played by Chase Stokes; Sarah, played by Madeline Cline; JJ, played by Rudy Pankow; Kiara, played by Madison Bailey; Pope, played by Jonathan Daviss; and Cleo, played by Carlatia Grant, are still on a relentless search for treasure while in Morocco. They finally hit the jackpot: the supposed 3,000-year-old Blue Crown, which is said to give its owner invincibility. However, darker times befell them than they expected.
The season begins with a shocking twist for JJ: all his life, he thought Luke was his father, but soon learns that his biological parents are Chandler Groff and Larissa Jenrette. It was Larissa’s drowning death that caused Chandler’s life to turn sour as he paid Luke to take care of JJ by making him a Weird by blood. This discovery sets off a series of events that will end with JJ’s violent confrontation with Chandler and a series of wild adventures. The Pogs manage to buy their new land, Pogeland; however, they lose it when some local weirdos change the zoning. In this situation, JJ’s subsequent rampage forces him to flee, where he discovers that the Blue Crown card is buried in his mother’s grave. After a tense escape and Chandler’s shocking attempt to kill JJ, the Pogies head to Morocco in search of treasure.
On his way to the treasure, Pope runs into trouble with the law, which leads him to join the Marines and avoid jail, but soon escapes to reunite with his friends. Rafe, who seems to have a score to settle with Chandler, surprises everyone by forming an alliance with the Pogues. Once inside Morocco, they engage in battle with armed treasure hunters Dahlia, however, it is JJ who finally receives the Blue Crown. However, achieving a high price entails its destruction. Saving Kiara’s life and giving the Blue Crown to Chandler turns fatal when JJ is stabbed by his biological father. He dies, leaving everyone in tears in the season finale as Kiara promises revenge. At the same time, Sarah reveals that she is pregnant with someone else’s child, confirming long-standing fan theories. The season ends on a rather bleak note, with all of the major plots of season five falling on deaf ears.
