Final Bills vs. Colts NFL Week 10 Score Prediction (Don’t Count the Colts Out)

Final Bills vs. Colts NFL Week 10 Score Prediction (Don’t Count the Colts Out)

The Buffalo Bills and Indianapolis Colts are looking to win the AFC battle in Week 10.

The Bills are firmly in first place in the AFC East standings with a 7-2 record, good for second place in the conference. They will face the Colts, who are currently the No. 1 ranked team in eighth place. Indianapolis has a chance to return to the playoffs with an upset win on Sunday.

Let’s dive into the latest odds for the game and then I’ll give the final score prediction.

General

The Bills opened as 5-point favorites in this AFC matchup, but the margin has since moved half a point to -4.5 Bills. Total per game dropped by half a point from 47.0 to 46.5.

In this week’s episode “Road to 272 bets“, I wrote about why I’m taking the Colts to cover the spread as home underdogs:

The Colts are a completely different team with Joe Flacco at quarterback. Even after last week’s loss to the Vikings, they still looked like the more diverse offense given Flacco’s ability to throw the ball.

This week they host the Bills, who have had some troubles on the road this season. The Bills have a net yards per game of -0.7 on the road this season. Their scoring average also drops from +17.5 to +3.4.

If the Colts can successfully run the ball, which they should do against a defense that allows 4.8 yards per carry, they can stay in this game and cover the spread as home underdogs.

As for the amount, I’ll take UNDER. I expect both teams to mostly stick to the running game, which will keep the clock alive and limit explosive plays on the field. If Indianapolis sticks to this game plan, there’s a chance they’ll not only cover the spread, but also pull out a complete win.

Final score prediction: Bills 21, Colts 24.
