Salman Khan receives new threat from ‘Lawrence Bishnoi gang’ over song

Threats against actor Salman Khan continue unabated. He was once again threatened by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. A message threatening Salman Khan was delivered to the Mumbai Traffic Police control room around midnight on Thursday. The threat came from a song written about Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi.

The message said: “Within a month, the lyricist will be killed. The lyricist’s condition will become such that he will not be able to write a song even about himself. If Salman Khan has the courage, he must save the lyricist.” The Mumbai Police is investigating the case.

Man arrested in case of threatening Salman Khan Lawrence Bishnoi fan

Earlier, a man from Rajasthan was arrested here on Wednesday and handed over to the Maharashtra Police on charges of threatening to kill Salman Khan. Officials said the accused has been identified as Bhikhu Ram (32) alias Vikram, hailing from Jalore in Rajasthan.

Haveri Superintendent of Police Anshu Kumar said, “Based on information received from Maharashtra ATS (Anti-Terrorism Squad), a person was arrested from Haveri town today and handed over to them.” Police sources said the accused moved to different places in Karnataka before arriving in Haveri about a month and a half ago.

He said that he worked at a construction site and lived in a rented room in Gudar-Oni. A police source said, “The accused was watching a regional news channel when he suddenly called the Mumbai Police control room and threatened to kill Salman Khan. He works as a daily wage laborer and claims to be a fan of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. This is his statement but he will be questioned and the case will be investigated in detail by the Mumbai Police. Our team handed him over to the Mumbai Police.”

He said that he requested Rs 5 crore from Salman Khan to build a temple for the Bishnoi community as he idolized Lawrence Bishnoi.
