Super 6 player wins £1m thanks to Mo Salah goal

A Swansea man has earned £1 million after topping the leaderboard in Sky Bet’s Super 6 prediction game.

He amazingly predicted the exact results of six Premier League games, including being one of just 0.2% of people to successfully predict Manchester City to beat Southampton 1-0!

The October rollover did bring some luck to one lucky football fan over the weekend, winning the £1 million jackpot!

Swansea’s Lee correctly predicted a further five goals, including the 2-2 draw between Arsenal and Liverpool, the final result needed to claim £1 million.

So it all came down to Mohamed Salah scoring the all-important goal for Liverpool at the Emirates and also helping the Super 6 player win the jackpot.

Lee’s predictions (with the percentage of Super 6 players predicting this outcome) were as follows:

Manchester City – Southampton 1:0 (0.2%)
Aston Villa – Bournemouth 1:1 (4.8%)
Everton 1-1 Fulham (33.5%)
Chelsea – Newcastle 2:1 (38.9%)
West Ham – Manchester United 2:1 (13.4%)
Arsenal – Liverpool 2:2 (16.8%)

Less than 5% of Super 6 punters predicted a 1-1 draw between Aston Villa and Bournemouth as the hosts looked to continue their good form with many expecting a comfortable win.

And the game almost ruined the player’s early predictions as Bournemouth were still 1-0 down at Villa Park in the 95th minute.

That was until Evanilson met the cross and struck for death with just seconds left.

On Sunday night, Super 6 shared a tweet asking “Lee from Swansea”: “Keep your phone handy, we’re about to change your life.”
