Question: How do you feel when you are in such a zone?

PB: Yes, it takes a lot of energy, I will say that. But just being in that zone—honestly, I didn’t lose 50 in high school or college. So I’ve never really been in that zone. . To do it on the biggest stage in the NBA and in front of the Magic’s home fans was truly amazing.”

Question: What is it like to hear the shouts of “MVP” at such moments?

PB: “This is a dream come true. It feels like when you’re in 2K and you have a great game… they start chanting “MVP”. I remember the first time (the fans) did it when I was a rookie, I remember the chills running down my spine because I had never experienced anything like this before. .. something you always dreamed about as a child, just playing in the park or on the road. I am so grateful to the fans for supporting me and the team.

Question: Did you receive the game ball? And what are you going to do about it if so?

PB: “Yes, yes. I have a game ball. I have sneakers, a T-shirt, everything is locked. I’ll try to make a nice little design on the game ball with my stat line… and post it. I might have the one at home from my first triple-double last year, so I’ll definitely get that one.”

Question: Last night you were quick to say that it’s not just about you. As fans continue to get to know this team, I want you to, if you can, give us one word to describe some of your teammates. I’ll just let them go. Are you ready?

PB: Yes.”

Question: Jalen Suggs.

PB: “Dog.”

Question: Anthony Black.

PB: Two words. I would say “nascent star”.

Question. Franz Wagner.

PB: “Consistently.”

Q: If you had to describe the entire Magic team as a whole, what would your word be?

PB: “Ruthless.”

Q: Your family is an integral part of the Seattle athletics community…your mom played in the WNBA, your dad played tight end in Washington, your sister is an accomplished soccer player, your brother is a high school quarterback who plays on the field. suggests D1. Who is the best athlete in the Banchero family?

PB: “It’s me. It’s me. I love my family; all my brothers and sisters are doing great things. My mom, she’s in the University of Washington Hall of Fame. But it’s me.”
