What happened to Susan Power?

What happened to Susan Power?

Even though she had started an extremely profitable business, she split the profits 50/50 with her business partner. She sued them and they countersued, causing legal costs to continue to mount.

“In the 90s there was nothing but lawsuits,” she admitted.

After the failed talk show, she turned down her television contract and moved to Seattle with her third son, whom she adopted.

“I taught in the basement of an elementary school, photographed home births underwater, drove my little Volkswagen Bug with my baby, just being a mother,” she said. “I’m a very simple hippie girl.”

Despite limiting her spending, she claims she lost all her money because it was mismanaged by someone else. “I never checked the balance,” she said. “I had to wonder. I fully admit this. I made a mistake… I knew how much control I had given up. I didn’t know what or where they paid, but I didn’t have any property. There are no funds left for my children. “

In 2018, she was living in a van at a campground in Las Vegas, and her only source of income was from food delivery services such as Uber Eats.

“It’s so hard. This is terribly shocking,” she said. “If sadness could kill you, I would be dead.”

As her funds dried up, she hoped she could earn the money back with another fitness book or tape, but by then times had changed. “I didn’t think there would ever be another book or video. I’ve never worked. I never thought that I wouldn’t be able to make a living,” she admitted. “But try getting a job as a 60-year-old woman.”
