The alien-themed decorations were installed by 1978 Marietta High School graduate Mike Woodgerd and his wife Marcie, who were serving treats at Mike’s mother’s house because she had more visitors than their home in Virginia.

Homeowner Stacy Kupfner said this was her first year living in a part of Vienna where she would be receiving gifts, so she decided to go all out on the decorations. “We plan to stay open later during Trick or Treat because we need all the trick-or-treaters out there.” she said. Kupfner also plans to clear out the driveway for trick-or-treating tonight so her friends who don’t usually get candy can also hand out candy at their homes.
