A man who went abroad in search of better opportunities has planned a surprise to celebrate his mother’s special day.

Langat, who has been living in Australia for a year and three months, working and studying, has done everything possible for his mother.

He said TUKO.co.ke that after moving abroad he always wanted to buy a car for his mother.

He secretly arranged for the five to be flown to their home to make her big day one to remember.

“I told my mother that my friends from Australia had come to Kenya and would pass by our house,” he said.

The look of shock and joy on his mother’s face when she saw the car for the first time was priceless.

Langata’s mother was overwhelmed with surprise and expressed gratitude and pride for her son’s caring gesture.

“Mom was very emotional; she cried a lot,” Langat said, adding that he gets tears in his eyes every time he watches the video of her reaction.

Langata’s gesture touched many hearts, especially when he showed his deep gratitude to his mother.
