Chelsea Manalo and Angelica Lopez: Stunning Arrival Looks

Competition season is in full swing as two Filipino beauty queens have already arrived in their host countries to compete in two of the world’s most prestigious pageants: Miss Universe and Miss International.

Chelsea Manalo is in Mexico for the Miss Universe pageant while Angelica Lopez is in Japan with the goal of winning the country’s seventh Miss International crown.

As expected from the Philippines, Chelsea and Anjelica turned heads with their stunning looks on the first day of the pageants.

CHELSEA MANALO ARRIVES IN MEXICO

On her first official day at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, Chelsea made a striking impression as the golden Maria Clara.

To register for the pageant, model Bulakeña wore a stunning gold archival creation from Carey Santiago.

She accessorized the ensemble with Manny Halasan jewelry and copper-colored heels.

Chelsea’s look was curated by her stylist Paris Roxas.

Before leaving for Mexico, she did a photo shoot to highlight her outfit.

The venue was the historic First United Building in Escolta, Manila.

The visually stunning images were captured by renowned photographer Seven Barretto under the artistic direction of Erwin Botin.

In a Facebook post, Carey shared the story of his first meeting with Chelsea at an event in June 2024 — the moment that ultimately led him to loan her the stunning Filipina for her trip to Miss Universe.

He mentioned submitting two dresses for Chelsea’s bid, but is unsure whether they will be selected.

He also extended his best wishes and support to the Pinay beauty queen.

Carey’s Facebook post read (posted as is): “In June 2024 during Bench TernoCon, I met our current MUPh Chelsea Manalo along with former MU R’Bonnie Nola.

“We had a short conversation and I told Chelsea that I would support her participation in the competition. To be honest, I’m not very knowledgeable about pageant dresses, but I told her I would take two outfits from my archive and it would be up to her or her.” her team if she wears it at any of her Man United events.

“Fast forward to today, this look would have been flattering on her if she had worn nude pumps.

“Still, I wish you all the best, darling. May the stars align in your favor. Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! (smiley)”

Carey Santiago’s gold Chelsea dress was her second outfit.

For her flight from the US to Mexico and upon arrival, she opted for a cozy look: a white fluffy jacket over a white ruffled blouse, paired with denim jeans and dark brown heels.

ANGELICA LOPEZ ARRIVED IN JAPAN

Angelica Lopez used the colors of the Japanese flag in her outfits.

During her trip to Japan, she wore a long-sleeved white top and a red pencil skirt, which was adorned with large bows. She paired them with black pumps.

This impressive outfit was created by Daniel Manila Createur and designed by Vhee Co.

Upon arrival, Angelique transformed her look with a dazzling red Filipino dress from the same designer, paired with nude heels and gold chandelier earrings from Kataw.

Vhee Co also designed this elegant ensemble.

Before arriving in Japan, Angelica took part in a photo shoot with fashion photographer Mark Neto Diaz.

She published the pictures on her Instagram feed.

On the morning of Wednesday, October 30, Angelica attended the performance of the Miss International 2024 competition in a snow-white ensemble.

Her outfit, consisting of a sleeveless top, blazer and trousers, was designed by Glennze Mark Tagiang Aquino.
