Travis Kelsey Gives Bedroom Tip for Avoiding Dryness: ‘Try Role-Playing’

Travis Kelsey helped a fan get through his wife’s bedroom drought with some sharp advice.

“Kansas City Chef” star, 35, and brother Jason Kelsey answered listener questions about dating and relationships during a special episode of the “New Heights” podcast released on Wondery+ on Thursday, October 31st.

The brothers helped a man in his 50s who was “going through a period” when his wife “wasn’t interested in sex at all.” The caller did not know what to do with the dry spot and said that he would never cheat on his wife.

“I will personally point out that I have no idea what this is,” Travis said happily.

Super Bowl Champion suggested, “Try role-playing one night and see if she’s up for it. Go to Spencer and buy something sexy as hell, man, I don’t know.”

Travis also suggested some less risky ways to keep the spark alive.

“Maybe just try to buy candles, rose petals, try to be a little romantic. Maybe you just need to rekindle that flame or something to make it work. Take her to a nice restaurant,” he told the listener. “That’s all I would try to do based on what I heard. It’s hard, man.

Jason, 36, added his opinion. “Start setting this thing up early. Women are strange. They don’t always want to have sex. I don’t know why, they don’t work on the same wavelength as us. … Women like to be sought after.”

Travis – who is dating the pop superstar Taylor Swift since August 2023—shared his honest opinion when another caller asked, “How do you know a relationship is strong?”

“I feel like (it’s) when you know someone’s lifethe Ohio native explained. “When you see someone’s daily life and you can understand it, and you get into a routine of constantly spending time with that person or constantly talking to that person about their daily activities. Naturally, you just feel a real connection.”

“Family is a good sign,” Travis added. “When someone introduces you, it’s very important. This is, of course, the next step.”

The professional athlete may have shown just how serious he and Taylor, 34, were when she first appeared at the Kansas City Chiefs game on September 24, 2023.
