Woman killed, man injured in double stabbing on Long Point Road, Houston police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A fatal shooting at an apartment complex in northwest Houston is under investigation.

One woman was killed and a man was wounded in a double stabbing on Long Point Road, according to the Houston Police Department.

Police said the victims were found with multiple stab wounds at approximately 7:35 a.m. Thursday.

The identities of the victims have not been publicly released, but police said they lived at the complex.

“At this time, I do not believe there is a threat to the public,” said Det. Bowling said this at the scene, but did not elaborate.

ABC13 saw what appeared to be a broom in an evidence bag loaded into the back of the unit’s vehicle at the crime scene Thursday afternoon.
