North Canton police rescue deer stuck in fence

NORTH CANTON, Ohio (VOYO) – North Canton Police officers rescued a deer from a fence Saturday morning.

According to a Facebook post by the North Canton Police Department, at around 8:37 a.m. Ofc. Knam and Sgt. A buzzard rescued a deer that was stuck in a fence.

According to the post, Nam is “no stranger to animal rescue.”

He’s known throughout the department as a duck rescue expert for how often he’s on duty when ducklings end up in storm drains, the release said.
