We haven’t heard any leaks about the iPhone 17 Pro release date yet, but based on AppleAs per usual patterns, we can say that it will likely be announced in the first or second week of September.

More precisely, it will likely be announced on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. Apple often chooses the second week of September, leaving the most likely announcement dates to be September 8, 9 or 10.

Pre-orders typically open on the Friday of announcement week, which means September 12th, and the iPhone 17 Pro will likely begin shipping the following Friday, September 19th.

But it’s possible that various stages of the launch will take place a week earlier or Apple will break the usual patterns.

There are no price leaks for the iPhone 17 Pro yet, but iPhone 16 pro starts at $999 / £999 / AU$1,849, so you can expect to pay at least that much for the next model.

The biggest iPhone 17 Pro design leak we’ve ever heard of is that Volume buttons and Action button can be replaced with one new key which can do all this work. It’s unknown exactly how it will do all these things, but it could very well have a design similar to a camera control button, meaning it could register different pressures as well as swipes, and respond to each differently.

The iPhone 17 Pro will also likely be available in at least one new shade.with one leak suggesting that Apple is considering using one of the three colors pictured below. One thing we can be absolutely sure of: iPhone 17 Pro will have a new chipsetwhich will most likely be called A19 Pro.
