In later interviews, Helena described their marriage as a difficult experience, expressing regret about the wedding. In a previous interview, Helena said, “I regret marrying Mithun. No matter how successful he becomes, I will never want to be with him again. These four months felt like a nightmare and I wish this had never happened. He convinced me that we were meant to be together and unfortunately I fell for it.”

Luke claimed that she asked Mithun for a divorce and didn’t even ask for alimony because she just wanted to get rid of him. She claimed that he treated women poorly. Helena said: “I was the one who left him and asked for a divorce. He may be a star now, but that doesn’t change my plans. I will never go back to him, even if he is the richest man in the area. I didn’t even ask for alimony. It was a nightmare and it’s over. I wish Mithun would stop talking about me. What I hate about Mithun is the way he treats his women like advertising props by discussing and talking about them. As for me, this is the last time I talk about this man. In a few months our divorce will be finalized and after that he can do whatever he wants.”

Helena Luke also said that she did not gain anything from her marriage to Mithun. “I waited for hours for Mithun at home, but only saw him four hours a day. The mental agony was unbearable. I realized that Mithun loved only himself and no one else.”

Helena claimed he was possessive too: “He was incredibly immature and suspicious by nature. I tried to explain something to him, but nothing worked. He was convinced that I was still dating my ex Javed Khan,” Helena said.

After her divorce from Mithun Chakraborty, Helena Luke moved to the United States, where she worked for Delta Airlines. Unfortunately, she passed away on November 3rd, although the cause of her death remains unknown.
