Royal Family’s Christmas 2024 Plan Causes Infighting, Half-Sister Rivalry and Drama

Halloween is over and I’m officially moving on to the holidays, so consider this a warning to all my loved ones: From now on, it’s nothing but Christmas logs and Jingle Bells. But really nobody takes the cozy season more seriously than the British royal family, who usually celebrate Christmas together in a luxurious castle. But 2024 will look a little different than usual, thanks to unprecedented drama brewing among members of the royal family. Let’s get settled together.

Royals head to Sandringham

The royal family is almost Always spends Christmas at Sandringham – the aforementioned fancy castle in Norfolk that is almost certainly haunted. Typically the entire group heads to the estate, including King Charles and his children (and their children), as well as Charles’ siblings (Prince Edward, Princess Anne and Prince Andrew) and their extended families. But, um, this year…

Prince William and Kate Middleton throw a rival party

Apparently Wills and Kate are planning to throw a “rival”, more “middle class” (quick moment ) Christmas party at their country home in what is not at all dramatically described as a “coup” against King Charles.

“A little video on social media of the family eating chocolate and watching TV would be a very effective way of showing how normal Christmas is at Anmer Hall compared to what we hear about at Sandringham,” a former courtier said recently. Daily Beast.

Meanwhile, a friend added that “Kate always thought gifts on Christmas Eve were kind of weird. They will definitely get rid of this when they officially get down to business. I imagine this will continue in some form at Sandringham this year, but at Anmer Hall it will be much more relaxed and middle class. You can bet your bottom dollar that they will make real gifts for each other and the children for Christmas.”

They also noted that in reality, “there has always been a thinly veiled rival Christmas party at (William and Kate’s) house, but this year it will be much more obvious.” If they publish the photos, it will be an official coup attempt.”

Wow, very sedentary for this drama.

Kate and William didn’t come for royal Christmas traditions

One of the reasons Kate and William want to skip Christmas at Sandringham and do their own thing? They supposedly think family traditions outdated. As the head of the public relations department, who previously worked with the royal couple, told the publication Daily Beast“William and Kate have built an incredibly successful brand out of being ordinary and boring, but the royals’ crazy Christmas routine puts it all at risk. This is especially damaging to their reputation because Christmas is the only time everyone in the entire country really pays attention to the royals, and it risks being overshadowed by stories about these strange, elitist, aristocratic habits. It’s no wonder they want to change the narrative as they prepare to take the throne themselves.”

Prince William also refuses to hang out with his half-brother

Another reason Prince William probably won’t be at Christmas? Because Queen Camilla will undoubtedly invite her children, including Tom Parker-Bowles…

Source told Daily Beast What “It’s best to avoid mentioning Tom in William’s presence,” and Wills is nervous about Tom’s “rather erratic lifestyle as a Mayfair resident.” Bon vivant.»

But the Christmas walk will almost certainly take place

It’s unclear who plans to attend, but members of the royal family rarely miss the annual Christmas morning stroll to the local church. This is usually one of the rare cases when royal children (Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Prince George) appear in public.

The couple did not attend the royal Christmas for a minute and are still locked in a seemingly endless feud with the family. On top of this, Harry is concerned about the safety of his family in England and is currently fighting a legal battle over the matter. IT SAID They’re talking that Harry’s uncle, Earl Spencer, invited the Sussexes to stay over Christmas, so is there is a chance they could end up in England… but not with the royals.

“Kay, on that note, I’m going to decorate the tree or something.
