Boeing machinists vote on contract to decide whether strike will end – ABC 6 News

(ABC 6 News) – Continue the strike or end it. That’s the reality Monday at the Boeing plant as union workers consider a new contract offer.

The strike is now in its eighth week and has halted production of most Boeing passenger planes.

In the latest proposed contract, Boeing is offering a 38% pay increase over four years, as well as ratification and performance bonuses.

The union representing Boeing workers in the Pacific Northwest supported the proposal.
