A Kiwi couple’s tiny home has a conservatory that doubles as a dining area.

We all dream of having our own space and calling it home. This beautiful tiny home is an example of what happens when that dream comes true. Jessica and Hayden, a New Zealand couple, have been living in the tiny house of their dreams for three years. Set amidst breathtaking landscapes in an isolated location, this micro-residential home seems like something straight out of a fairytale. The most charming addition to a home is the conservatory, which adds character and personality to the space.

Thanks to its biophilic design, it tiny house It measures 33 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 13 feet high. When you walk through the door you find yourself in a conservatory built by Hayden and designed and decorated by Jessica.

With comfortable lounging, a cozy dining environment and other colorful features such as fairy lights, hanging plants, dried plant displays and beautiful glazing, they enhance the living space. Jessica runs a doggy daycare and loves spending time with the dogs here, completely immersed in nature and sheltered from the elements all year round.

Inside, the layout is practical and includes a master bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room on the ground floor, with an additional bedroom and office space upstairs. Firstly, this is a bright and spacious living room. It is equipped with a U-shaped sofa bed with storage space, air conditioning, a feature wall with art and paintings and an elegant TV that almost blends into the wall. There are also shelves for plants, books and other antiques to make them look more colorful. Thanks to many windows, the living room is bright and well ventilated.

Nearby is Jessica and Hayden’s beautifully designed kitchen, which features an L-shaped countertop, sink, and tons of above- and under-counter storage. They have all the appliances from the refrigerator and microwave tucked away in a designated area to the oven. They forgo the cooktop due to space constraints, but have an Instant Pot for cooking.

Next is the stylish bathroom. Given the limited space, the bathroom is practical: it has a shower, toilet, sink and small storage space. Slightly forward is the luxurious bedroom with a large double bed, two bedside tables, a wardrobe and cupboards above the head of the bed. Proper placement of windows ensures ventilation of the room and makes it suitable for living.

Returning to the kitchen, a railed staircase leads upstairs to Jessica and Hayden’s office and guest bedroom. Their office space is immersive and located next to a window. The guest bedroom has a partition and a door. It has a double bed, two bedside tables and minimal storage space.

Jessica and Hayden have found their sanctuary to live and grow together. They future-proofed their home by placing essentials downstairs and less-used space upstairs. dream of a small house a useful, well designed and efficient space.
