Since the beginning of the year, Russian Railways have repaired 4.6 thousand km of tracks – Business and Economics

MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. Since the beginning of this year, Russian Railways has repaired more than 4,600 km of tracks, the railway operator reported in its official Telegram channel.

“More than 4,600 km of tracks have been repaired on the Russian Railways network since the beginning of the year. Particular attention has been paid to the Eastern Ridge (Baikal-Amur and Trans-Siberian Railways – TASS), more than 1,000 km of tracks have been reconstructed there,” the company reported.

The main track repair season is close to completion, but thanks to modern technologies, infrastructure renewal can take place all year round, Russian Railways noted.
