Zinedine Zidane was spotted at Real Madrid’s game against AC Milan amid reports that Carlo Ancelotti could be sacked following their latest failure.

Real suffered a crushing defeat at home with a score of 3:1. Milan on Tuesday, their second defeat of the European campaign this season.

La Liga last season and Champions League winners are also struggling domestically, falling behind their main rivals Barcelona by nine points in the league.

According to widespread reports in Spain, pressure is mounting on Ancelotti and he is at risk of losing his job.

Zidane could be replaced in the frame Ancelotti for the third period at Real Madrid.

Amid speculation linking him with a sensational return to the Bernabeu, he was spotted at yesterday’s game in a rare appearance.

The video shows fans rushing to take photos with the French legend outside the stadium.

Zidane, who played for the club throughout his legendary playing career, managed Real Madrid in two different periods.

His first term in office ran from January 2016 to May 2018, before he returned for a second term in March 2019, which lasted until May 2021.

During his coaching career, he inspired the club to three Champions League titles and two La Liga trophies.

Zidane, 52, is currently unemployed so the potential appointment should go smoothly.

Meanwhile, Ancelotti spoke to the media following his side’s devastating defeat, saying something was “missing” on the pitch.

“We are missing something on the field. In the last three matches we conceded 9 goals. It’s too much,” he said.

“We had a lot of chances today. We lacked precision, we could have scored more. But that’s not the problem.

“I don’t want to talk about individual qualities, but together we are not very good.

“We have problems with defense. We cannot continue to defend ourselves the way we are now. It’s everyone’s fault, all the players, all of us. We win and lose together.”

“We’re not playing very well. If we continue like this, it will be difficult to finish the season. We have to correct the situation, and I have to look for solutions and change something.”

Real Madrid will resume their campaign on Saturday when they face Osasuna in a league match.
