Financial firms are leading Trump’s victory rally. Other interest rate sensitive sectors are struggling.

Today’s market rally is widespread, but not every sector is at the Trump victory party.

During morning trading, the three major indexes traded at their highest levels ever and were on track to reach closing highs.

The Dow rose 1,291.63 points, or 3.1%, its best day since Nov. 10, 2022, according to Dow Jones Market Data. The S&P 500 rose 1.8% and the Nasdaq rose 2.1%.
