Simone Biles calls on Biden to ‘shake things up’ before leaving office after Trump wins over Harris

US Olympic Legend Simone Biles broke her silence on the election results on Wednesday.

After the former president Trump should have won Vice President Kamala Harris in the Electoral College and Popular Vote Biles sent a message on X to President Biden, urging him to “shake things up” before leaving office in January.

“Mr. Biden, I need you to stand up, straighten your back, and shake some things up before you leave,” Biles wrote, adding, “Ho ho ho women in America.”

Biles made additional statements on her Instagram Stories about the election.

In one of the slides, she shared a post about how “supporting a convicted criminal over a woman is fucking crazy.” She echoed that statement with her caption: “F*cking crazy!”

In another slide, Biles shared a post on women’s mental health from the popular affirmation page “We The Urban.”

Biles has avoided making any other direct political statements throughout the 2024 election cycle. However, she appeared to be referring to one of Trump’s quotes from his first debate with Biden, when Trump said illegal immigrants were “taking jobs away from black people.”

After winning gold at the Paris Olympics this summer, Biles mentioned it in a post on X.

Biles previously met with Biden when the president presented her with the nation’s highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, in July 2022.
