“Biden dropped out?” did the search increase on Tuesday?

(KGTV) — A hard-to-believe story claims internet searches for “Is Joe Biden out” spiked on Election Day, indicating a number of people just discovered he’s not running.

It’s really true.

According to Google Trends, searches for “Has Joe Biden dropped out” began to spike around 6 a.m. on Election Day and continued to rise throughout the day until peaking at midnight.

Then the next day around 8am it started growing again.

Before election day, there were practically no such searches.

President Biden, of course, abandoned his re-election bid in July.
